Application: Flexography process | Odorous contaminants
Problem: Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO)
Methods of printing and flexography are causing emission of odoriferous contaminants to the atmosphere, particularly because of the use of solvents contained in the inks and lacquers. In order to not harm the neighborhood and to comply with local environmental regulations (City of Montreal – CMM), volatile organic compounds (VOC) must be checked, cleaned and dispersed into the atmosphere.
